There is a strong volunteering tradition in RUMS. Whether fundraising money or giving time, there are a wealth of opportunities to get involved. Volunteering societies tend to be less exclusive to RUMS students, and so offer a good opportunity to meet new people on other courses as well. There’s no better feeling than knowing you have improved someone else’s life – especially if you can have a bit of fun yourself whilst doing it! We have listed some of the volunteering organisations run by medical students at UCL but it is also worth checking out UCLU’s Volunteering Services Page, which has a vast array of opportunities.
